I’m sure you were
all delighted to hear about E L James releasing ‘Grey’ on Christian’s birthday,
18th June.
While you’re impatiently waiting to get your hands on a copy, why not read the newly edited Meet Fifty Shades which was originally written three years ago to fill the gaps and tell Christian’s side of Fifty Shades, while we were waiting for E L James to give us her version.

Thanks so much for the heads up on your new novel - congratulations! It's going to be a great summer read, if the Starr series is any indication. I am looking forward to it.
ReplyDeleteI have to say that I'm a little ambivalent about the new ELJames book. Of course I'll buy it and read it, but I've considered your CPOV blog as the definitive one for so long, you so brilliantly captured Christian's voice. It shouldn't be strange to read the EL James version, but it will be. Kudos on the new illustrations.
Thanks :)
DeleteHi Griffin!.. I agree with previous commenter the new release from James.. It will be weird to read E L James version now, because I've read yours.. Which was AWESOME! Spot on!
ReplyDeleteBut it will be interesting on how she's been writing Mr Grey's thoughts and feelings.. I've ordered the book, so we'll see how that one is.. :-)
Keep up the great work!.. :-D *thumbs up*
Btw I'm a FB friend of Brownell, she was the one that send the Mr Grey's POV to me.. ;-D
Welcome to my blog, Angelica. Glad you enjoyed reading my version of Christian's perspective.
DeleteI LOVED your version :)
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely agree w the comments above; am now rereading your Christian point of view for the 2nd or third time because EL James version is coming out. Your writing is so good. And I am anticipating that James may have smoothed of some of the rough edges in hers just from having had more practice by now, and who knows, maybe the help of a good editor. Kudos always to her for inventing such a good story and for making history with breaking barriers cross over fiction. And kudos to you for continuing the story, giving us "more" and for your good writing
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the New York Times link. I hope this brings more people to your blog and to your original works. Looking forward to July 3
